July is Disability Pride Month! The Americans with Disabilities Act defines disability as “a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.”
"Lived Experience" features the work of four artists from across the US who have lived with various chronic illnesses and disabilities since they were young. The artists’ drawings and paintings reflect their experiences, share their personal stories, and give a glimpse into what life can be like when you have a chronic illness.
